Meet our cousin, Leo. He’s basically our little brother. And as little brothers do, he pestered us one evening to try something rather pointless and ridiculous to the point where we couldn’t stand anymore hearing him say, “try it! Try it!” So, we tried it.

Those who know me well know that I am deathly afraid of bugs! They’re ugly, disgusting, and frankly they give me the heebie jeebies! This one particular morning, I am getting ready to leave John’s house when to my surprise I find a HUGE grasshopper stuck to my car door. Obviously, I’m not going to try and open the door, so I end up climbing through the passenger side to get into the car. I drive away, thinking this grasshopper will eventually fall off. IT DOESN’T!! It just clings to my car the whole time! I even drove on the freeway – 75 mph for 15 minutes!!!
Jevon sends me a text: “Haha, it’s out for your blood. It’s like Terminator!”
Lost and not knowing what to do, I go back and call Jevon for some help. While I’m trapped inside my car from the evil, giant grasshopper, I take out the 5D camera to capture Jevon’s rescue attempt…

One thing I love about having a son is being able to play with him the same toys I played with when I was a kid: DC Superheroes, Ninja Turtles, Transformers! It’s so fun to have a son who is in to all these things. Although, I won’t complain too much that he prefers Superman over Batman, since his dad is a total Batman fan. Kids can’t seem to resist favoring ol’ Big Blue over the Dark Knight, I guess. But I digress.
John (or Uncle John to Adon) came over one day around the time of Halloween with a small box that had a familiar design on it > Optimus Prime? And Adon LoOoves dressing up as his favorite superhero characters. He was Superman for Halloween in 2007. So Adon did not hesitate one bit when he was asked to try on the home-made Transformer-box.
I crack up hearing his impression of a Transformer robot…!
